What is it like to live the life of Jacob Baker? What is it like to be in my shoes? Well, I live a typical “boring” life. Monday and Wednesday I wake up at 7:50, start my morning and head off to work. I work at a t-shirt design company called Scott Printing. I help clean the screens and redesign the screen so we can add new images on them to print into the shirts and into the koozies. I work until 12-12:30 and then I grab a quick meal (usually McDonalds or Chick-Fil-A) and head to my classes. I have two classes. The first one is a digital photography class from 1-1:50 and the other class is media theory and research from 2-2:50. After my classes I head home and box on the punching bag in my garage for about 30 minutes and then I do any homework that I may have. After that is done I eat dinner and play some video games or watch TV for a couple of hours. Then I take a shower and I am usually in bed by 10:30-11. Some TV shows I have watched recently have been Jack Ryan, Breaking Bad, and Better Call Saul. When I am not into a series I typically watch Impractical Jokers or YouTube. My favorite Youtube videos to watch are usually from a gaming content creator named Cartoonz.Tuesday and Thursday is very similar to my Monday and Wednesday. I wake up and head to work, after work I head home and eat lunch (usually chicken and fries or a pizza). Then I usually do any “chores” or cleaning that may need to be done. This includes dishes, laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash and recycle, etc. After that I head to my special topics in communication class from 2:45-4. After class I head home and box again for 30 minutes or so, eat dinner, play games and/or watch TV, shower, and then go to bed by 10:30-11. Friday is my “easy” day. I’m off of work and only have one class from 2-2:50. I usually sleep in and catch up on my sleep, do homework, box, and play games. Speaking of video games, my favorite games to play are Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Madden 24. Right now the only game I am playing is Madden. I play ultimate team every day. I am looking forward to playing the new Spiderman 2 game on PS5. My fiancée, Alli, also comes down on the weekends,she usually gets to my place around 9:30 and I get to spend my weekends with her. I don’t work on weekends and make sure I have no homework that way I can dedicate all of my time to her. Saturday I wake up around 8 and go to the YMCA and do my boxing lessons. I then spend the day with Alli. We go out to eat, go on dates, watch movies, etc. Sunday I wake up at 9 and head to church. I go to The Assembly off of Burkhardt Road. I then head home and eat lunch and watch NFL Sunday Ticket all day! I love me some football! My favorite NFL team is the Tennessee Titans, and I plan on going and watching a couple of games in person this season. Friday and Saturday I am usually in bed by midnight, Sunday I am in bed by 10:30-11. Wednesday and Friday I take my weekly quizzes in my digital photography class. Other than my basic days/ weeks there are a couple of outliers that I do every month. My buddy, Hunter, and I go to the opening premiere of lots of movies! Marvel, DC, and really any movie we are interested in. Lastly, the last Wednesday of every month I help with my church’s food pantry. My family and I started this food pantry right after Covid to help give back to our community. It is called “The Storehouse” and we give out from 6-8 the last Wednesday monthly. We help with random food pallets throughout the month but typically have a lot of pallets to do the Saturday before the give away. This can change when I’m not in classes (winter or summer break) and it can even change on weekends or when I switch things up a bit. However, this is my typical week as of right now. I know I live a typical life and that it can be quite “boring”, but now you get an inside look into me and what I do everyday.
