Playoff Picture & Super Bowl LVIII Predictions
Who are the best teams in the entire NFL? What teams do I believe will make the playoffs, and what teams do I see making it to the Super Bowl? We are through 12 weeks of football already with 6 weeks remaining. We have already had 24 NFL teams have their bye weeks. We have had some exciting and entertaining action through the first 12 weeks. However, we still have 6 weeks remaining, and 8 NFL teams still have their bye week. Here are the current standings through the first 12 weeks in the AFC. 1. Baltimore Ravens (9-3), 2. Kansas City Chiefs (8-3), 3. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3), 4. Miami Dolphins (8-3), 5. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4), 6. Cleveland Browns (7-4), 7. Indianapolis Colts (6-5), 8. Houston Texans (6-5), 9. Denver Broncos (6-5), 10. Buffalo Bills (6-6), 11. Cincinnati Bengals (5-6), 12. Las Vegas Raiders (5-7), 13. Los Angeles Chargers (4-7), 14. Tennessee Titans (4-7), 15. New York Jets (4-7), and 16. New England Patriots (2-9). Now here are the current standing through the first 12 weeks in the NFC. 1. Philadelphia Eagles (10-1), 2. San Francisco 49ers (8-3), 3. Detroit Lions (8-3), 4. Atlanta Falcons (5-6), 5. Dallas Cowboys (8-3), 6. Seattle Seahawks (6-5), 7. Minnesota Vikings (6-6), 8. Green Bay Packers (5-6), 9. Los Angeles Rams (5-6), 10. New Orleans Saints (5-6), 11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7), 12. New York Giants (4-8), 13. Chicago Bears (4-8), 14. Washington Commanders (4-8), 15. Arizona Cardinals (2-10), and 16. Carolina Panthers (1-10). However, 12 weeks of football does not and will not fully determine the 2023 season. This ranking will be my personal predictions based off of the overall teams, players, and how I think they will finish the year.
Right now in the AFC the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and the Indianapolis Colts are in the hunt for the playoffs. The Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, and the Buffalo Bills are all on the bubble and have a chance to make the playoffs. I believe that the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Miami Dolphins will all win their division and make the playoffs. I believe the three Wild Card teams will be slightly different though. I think that the Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts will fall out of the playoff contention. I think the three Wild Card teams will be the Pittbsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, and the Denver Broncos.
Right now in the NFC the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, and Minnesota Vikings are in the hunt for the playoffs. The Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, and New Orleans Saints are all on the bubble and have a chance to make the playoffs. I believe that the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, and Atlanta Falcons will all win their division and make the playoffs. As far the three Wild Card teams I believe that it will be the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, and Minnesota Vikings. I could potentially see the Minnesota Vikings falling out and the Green Bay Packers sneaking their way in if Justin Jefferson doesn’t come back.
For the AFC side I believe that the three best teams are the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, and the Kansas City Chiefs (in that order). I also think that two of these three teams will play in the AFC Championship with one going to the Super Bowl. If I had to narrow it down to two teams, I believe that the Baltimore Ravens or the Miami Dolphins make it to the Super Bowl. There is a VERY good chance it ends up being the Kansas City Chiefs though. This is because the NFL is obsessed with this team. They LOVE them some Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Talor Swift. This team is not very good but I could see the NFL and refs pushing this team to the Super Bowl because of the money and popularity they generate. I also see them pushing this team to have another Super Bowl rematch with the Philadelphia Eagles so the Kelce brothers can face off again. However, the Philadelphia Eagles are actually a really good team and deserve to make it to the Super Bowl and have a good chance to make it.
For the NFC side I believe that the three best teams are the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and the Dallas Cowboys (in that order). I also think that two of these three teams will play in the NFC Championship with one going to the Super Bowl. If I had to narrow it down to two teams, I believe that the Philadelphia Eagles or the San Francisco 49ers make it to the Super Bowl. The Dallas Cowboys also have a really good shot and I wouldn’t be surprised if they made it. However, the Dallas Cowboys are very famous for and known for choking in the playoffs and that’s why I have them not making it.
Who will win Super Bowl LVIII? There is absolutely no shot that any team from the AFC wins the Super Bowl. Whatever team from the NFC that makes it to the Super Bowl (Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, or Philadelphia Eagles) will be the team that wins the Super Bowl. The only way an AFC team wins the Super Bowl is if one of the NFC teams is exhausted from a hard fought battle, or one of the NFC teams loses some players to injuries along the way. The Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, and Philadelphia Eagles are the three best teams in the NFL and better than any AFC team. The NFC Championship will be a closer and more entertaining game than the Super Bowl. If I had to pick one team however, I believe that the Philadelphia Eagles will win Super Bowl LVIII.
