Ranking Every NFC Team

Who is the best team in the NFC? We are through 7 weeks of football already with 11 weeks remaining. We have already had 12 NFL teams have their bye weeks with 5 teams in the NFC having their bye weeks already. We have had some exciting and entertaining action through the first 7 weeks. However, we still have a little over half the season to go with 11 weeks remaining, and 11 NFC teams still have their bye week. Here are the current standings through the first 7 weeks. 1. Philadelphia Eagles (6-1),  2. Detroit Lions (5-2), 3. San Francisco 49ers (5-2) 4. Atlanta Falcons (4-3), 5. Seattle Seahawks (4-2), 6. Dallas Cowboys (4-2), 7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-3), 8. Minnesota Vikings (3-4), 9. Los Angeles Rams (3-4), 10. Washington Commanders (3-4), 11. New Orleans Saints (3-4), 12. Green Bay Packers (2-4), 13. New York Giants (2-5), 14. Chicago Bears (2-5), 15. Arizona Cardinals (1-6), and 16. Carolina Panthers (0-6). However, 7 weeks of football does not and will not fully determine the 2023 season. This ranking will be my personal predictions based off of the overall teams, players, and how I think they will finish the year.

In last place, number 16 will be the Carolina Panthers. They are the only team in the entire NFL to not have a win, do I really need to say anything else? At number 15 will be the New York Giants. They have looked and played awful. Their backup quarterback is playing better than their starter did but whenever Daniel Jones is healthy they will play him because they gave him the bag like the idiots they are. And as Steven A Smith said, “It’s Saquon and a bag of chips”. At number 14 will be the Arizona Cardinals. They have had a backup quarterback so far who has played decent but they are getting Kyler Murray back now. I could see them doing better with him back but I could also see them tanking for a new quarterback. At number 13 will be the Green Bay Packers. I had high hopes for Jordan Love but he has been playing awful so far. At number 12 will be the Chicago Bears. This team has sparks at times and looks really good but most of the time they just play bad. I could see them potentially finishing a bit higher but not much higher. At number 11 will be the New Orleans Saints. Once again I could see them potentially finishing higher but they have looked bad recently. Derrick Carr is playing awful and refuses to use the best player in the offense. At number 10 will be the Washington Commanders. They have looked alright but I can’t put my finger on Sam Howell. Some games he looks great and others he looks like he has never heard of football.

At number 9 will be the Atlanta Falcons. They have played alright so far but I don’t see them keeping it up. They also have been managing the clock and play little defense and I don’t see that working well all season for them. At number 8 will be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Defense has looked good and Baker Mayfield has played pretty good as well. I can see them finishing a little worse depending on Mike Evans health the rest of season. At number 7 will be the Los Angeles Rams. I can see them finishing a little better as well, they just need to perform more consistently on offense for me to believe they can finish any higher. They get lots of yards but few touchdowns. At number 6 will be the Minnesota Vikings. They started out terrible but it looks like they have got it together now after just beating the San Francisco 49ers. Once Justin Jefferson gets back they will be even better. All they need to do is get better on defense and limit teams offense. At number 5 will be the Detroit Lions. They have played well so far and honestly these last five teams could circle around in any order. They have a couple injuries that can impact their next couple of games but I believe they will finish strong. At number 4 will be the Seattle Seahawks. They look phenomenal. Every rookie they drafted looks good. Jake Bobo, Jackson Smith-Njigba, and Devon Witherspoon. They have a great defense, one of the best receiving cores, and one of the best running backs. They only really lack at tight end and they just have a mid quarterback.

Now for the top 3 of the NFC conference. It is between the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and the Dallas Cowboys. At number 3 will be the Dallas Cowboys. They have a phenomenal defense, a great running back, a great wide receiver, a good tight end, and a decent quarterback. The only thing holding them back is Dak Prescott, he is hit or miss. At number 2 will be the San Francisco 49ers. They have a phenomenal defense, the best running back in the league, two great wide receivers, and a top five tight end. This team looks really good when they are all healthy. They have had several injuries this season and when that happens they just don’t look the same. And in first place and leading the NFC will be no other than the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Philadelphia Eagles have an amazing team! They improved their defense in the offseason but they still had some holes and looked just alright. However, they absolutely fleeced my Titans and got Kevin Byard. So now they really do look unstoppable. The only thing that can stop them is injuries. Offensively they are even better. They have the best offensive line in the league, they have a top five quarterback, they have a great running back, they have a great tight end, and they have one the best wide receiver rooms lead by superstar AJ Brown. They also have the most unstoppable play with the tush push. You can’t stop it! That is why I believe the Philadelphia Eagles will win the NFC. Here are my final rankings for the NFC. 16. Carolina Panthers, 15. New York Giants, 14. Arizona Cardinals, 13. Green Bay Packers, 12. Chicago Bears, 11. New Orleans Saints, 10. Washington Commanders, 9. Atlanta Falcons, 8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 7. Los Angeles Rams, 6. Minnesota Vikings, 5. Detroit Lions, 4. Seattle Seahawks, 3. Dallas Cowboys, 2. San Francisco 49ers, and 1. Philadelphia Eagles.
