If you think of yourself as a die-hard Disney fan, you may think you know every Easter egg in the books. However, we have a few that we think may make your movie-watching experience just a bit more magical.

A Special Guest at Elsa’s Coronation

We’ll start out easy. It’s common knowledge among the Disney adults that Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled attended Elsa’s coronation, as they can be seen in a fast clip entering the gates. But do you know how Elsa and Anna’s story sneaks into other movies?

Into the Unknown

Elsa and Anna have many sneaky guest appearances in other movies, such as Zootopia. In an early scene where Judy Hopps is taking the train into the city, two little elephants are dressed as Anna and Elsa.

But it doesn’t stop there! The sneaky weasel that causes Nick and Judy trouble throughout the movie is named Duke Weaselton… sound familiar? That’s because Duke Weselton from Frozen was often nicknamed Weaselton! And what seals the deal on this easter egg? Duke Weaselton in Zootopia is mistakenly called Duke Weselton!

On the Other Side

The Princess and the Frog is a popular topic of conversation among the Disney community because of the new restaurants and rides coming to Disney Parks. So naturally, it’s only appropriate to check out an easter egg nestled in this classic story.

During Dr. Facilier’s song where he connects with the beings “on the other side,” we see many shadows—or evil spirits—crawl out from their graves. However, if you look closely, you can see that one of those shadows is none other than the Pumpkin King himself… Mr. Jack Skellington.

A Dazzling Place We Never Knew

Moana broke records– and stereotypes– when it was released in 2016. As a Disney movie that finally highlighted Polynesian culture, many young kids were finally seeing a Princess they could relate to. And of course, there are many easter eggs lining the film.

In one of the first musical numbers, Moana’s family is convincing her that she should never leave the island, even though Moana is longing to see a new place she’s never known. As she explores the village, the Magic Carpet from Aladdin is introduced to a “whole new world” as it makes a cameo on the island.

Straight On Till Morning

Okay, we have to go back to The Princess and the Frog for the best hidden easter egg of them all. In this movie, it’s revealed that in the magical world of Disney, fireflies become stars when they die. Ray, one of Tiana’s friends who happens to be a firefly, was dating a firefly named Evangeline. She passed away before the movie takes place and is currently the brightest star in the sky.

Okay—this is your chance to scroll away if you don’t want a spoiler.

When Ray passes away at the end of The Princess and the Frog, he joins Evangeline in the sky. And the placement of the two of them together, you ask? Well, it the couple line up perfectly to create the two stars that will guide you to Neverland.

These magical moments have us ready for a Disney binge night! Better yet, who’s ready to get our pie dust on and fly right over to Neverland ourselves?
